OBX as the Outer Banks are frequently called is an amazing place to visit, from the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to Jockeys Ridge State Park there is natural beauty everywhere you look. My friend Mark VanDyke referred to the Bodie Island Lighthouse as the gatekeeper of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and I think it's a fitting designation for this landmark of North Carolina.
