Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This is a series of photos of my first photo walk of Ybor City! In this historic section of Ybor City I saw these three restored row houses, or shotgun houses as many use to call them. If you lived in this area back at the turn of the century and work at one of the many cigar factory's, then this is what your home would have look like. These wood frame houses were easy to build and took you very little space, so you could get a lot of them side by side on one block. Well because this is the historic section I did this photo in black and white. I know that most of you are asking the question "What dose this have to do with shotguns???" Well these house were long and very narrow, with all the rooms on one side. That made a long hallway that went from the front door all the back to the back door. You could shoot a shotgun at the front door and hit something out the back door!!!! Not that anyone use to do that but that is the idea behind it. The name has lasted for years and years!!! I hop...
